Kalitta Charters takes
pride in providing quality charter aircraft that are meticulously
maintained to FAA specifications for FAR 135 charter operations. Our fleet of Lear Jet and Falcon 20 aircraft are held to a
precise inspection schedule to assure that all aircraft systems are safe
and operational and meet exacting specifications as defined by the
certification granted to us. Kalitta Charters participates in an Anti-drug
and Alcohol misuse Prevention Program. Because of the safety sensitive
functions performed by the maintenance department. random
drug and alcohol testing is performed on an ongoing basis and reported to
the Drug Abatement Division of the FAA.
MAINTENANCE
STAFF
The maintenance staff is
comprised of a large group of licensed and experienced airframe and power
plant (A&P) mechanics and other maintenance support staff with 24/7
coverage for all aircraft maintenance issues. All staff are
required to maintain re-currency in their specific areas of expertise as
mandated by the FAA. Meticulous record documentation and emphasis on
quality of work and job performance assures that all aircraft are ready for
service and your next aircraft charter.
ACCESSORY
SHOP
Kalitta Charters operates an accessory shop, Certificate # CKS2049A, with
class ratings for Mechanical accessories, Electrical accessories, and
Electronic accessories.
AIRFRAME
AND POWERPLANT
In support of all of our aircraft, Kalitta Turbines operates under
Certificate # CKSR049B, granted by the FAA for limited airframe, limited
power plant, and limited specialized service for the aircraft in our fleet.
In respect to these ratings our maintenance facility is rated for airframe
for Lear 20 and 30 series aircraft. The power plant department is rated for
Garrett TFE731-2-2B, General Electric CJ610 Series, and General Electric CF700
Series jet engines. Limited specialized services include Balancing and
Non-Destructive testing.
